About Alistair Forest– Director
Alistair joined our team in 2018 and became a Director of Stanley’s in 2020 and a co-owner, along with Gary Ross. He manages all daily operations of Stanley’s and brings with him more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, 30 years as a General Manager and more than 25 years in the Caribbean. Having made a successful transition from the hospitality industry, Alistair brings a wealth of expertise to Stanley’s in the areas of management of commercial properties, major refurbs of privately owned estate villas and consulting expertise in shared ownership real estate.
In Antigua, Alistair has managed Blue Waters, Royal Antiguan Resort, the St. James Club, and served as the opening General Manager for Carlisle Bay to name just a few.
Alistair is a Member of the Institute of Hospitality (MIH) and has also managed hotels and resorts in his native Scotland, the Seychelles, Vietnam, Maldives the UK and Barbados, St. Lucia and Nevis here in the Caribbean. Alistair has dual, Antiguan and UK, citizenship.
Alistair enjoys golf, dinghy sailing, skiing, and mountain biking. He is a keen musician, guitar player and sometimes vocalist, and is learning keyboards. He is also writing his first book.
