Antigua Carnival
July 25th, 2026 – August 04th, 2026

Ten days of steel band music, calypso competitions and parties that culminate in street dances and parades through the island capital St John’s, and thereafter in the Antigua Recreation Ground. Dancers spill out onto the street for j’ouvert morning (on the first Monday in August) and then rig up with their carnival costume for the street parades.

Antigua hosts their 61st Annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show.. The show is held over six days and takes place at the Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina, and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina both located in Falmouth Harbour.

Every Christmas day from midday English Harbour residents and visitors gather in the Nelson’s Dockyard around the Capstan for a huge Champagne Christmas Day Party. The funds from the party go towards a worthy cause, and a fun time is had by all.

Nelson’s Pursuit Race traditionally attracts an excellent fleet of yachts of all sizes – which in the past have included boats of less than 20 feet, Carriacou sloops and a wide range of both racing and cruising yachts. This is an all-comers event and provides an afternoon of fun and excitement for everyone, particularly Caribbean cruisers who are not otherwise set up for racing events.
