The Carib House is spacious and luxurious, a Caribbean style, 5 bedroom villa which can accommodate groups of up to 10 persons. Located on the south coast of Antigua, close to the entrance of Falmouth Harbour and only 5 minutes off the main road, it sits on  1.15 acres of mature landscaping offering serenity, privacy and stunning ocean views.

Totaling five bedrooms (all with Air Conditioning), the main house features three very generous, beautifully finished bedrooms. The master bedroom enjoys a private terrace, with picture postcard views overlooking Falmouth Harbour. Two further bedrooms in the main house, are delightfully bright and cool and share a family bathroom, which features a stunning large open greenstone shower.

Entering the main house up an impressive stone staircase, the fabulous main entrance transports you into a tropical oasis, leading into a spacious handcrafted open plan kitchen, featuring a stunning one-of-a-kind, varnished, mahogany breakfast bar. The living area, the heart of the house, accented with Trinidadian mahogany beams, and natural limestone floors, flows effortlessly onto the expansive verandah.

A garden bedroom, situated underneath the magnificent L-shaped verandah of the main house, provides a complete private space, offering it’s own kitchen and bathroom, and a shaded terracotta-tiled terrace for dining and relaxing. A fifth and equally sumptuous bedroom is situated in an independent, poolside cottage, featuring a luxurious en-suite bathroom and it’s own wrap-around verandah.

The main house is complemented by a sizeable pool area and sun deck, built from local stone. Carved from the hillside, impressive natural stone terraces create the most unique sunbathing spot, adding to the properties charm and character. Cocktails and sunsets can be enjoyed in the shade of the poolside Gazebo, which offers spectacular views out towards Montserrat and Guadeloupe.

Built in 1999, the property was built to take full advantage of the natural Caribbean breeze, and features classic wooden shutters throughout, which take full advantage of this fundamental characteristic. Private, serene and intimate, The Carib House is the quintessential Caribbean hideaway. Nestled within over an acre of beautifully landscaped tropical greenery, the open-air architecture affords for the ultimate in understated luxurious outdoor living. Conveniently located just a minutes’ walk from Turtle Bay beach, down a private pathway, this unique and stunning property provides casual elegance ideal for entertaining.

The Carib House is available for rent for all of the annual calendar events in Antigua such as Carnival, Antigua Classic Yacht and Sailing Week Regattas (special rates apply).  Comprising a total of five generous double bedrooms, all screened with air conditioning and ceiling fans, our luxury villa can be rented as a whole, or as a 4 bedroom villa. This vacation rental is also ideal for intimate wedding receptions or functions for 20-80 persons with spacious living and entertaining areas.

Special rates apply for Christmas, New Year and all Sailing Events such as RORC, Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta and Antigua Sailing Week.  Please contact us for a quotation.  There are also special rates for two – three week bookings and also three bedroom rates if required.
